Loved this novella! Typically, I prefer to read full length novels but I was looking for a short story and something about the blurb of this novella caught my attention. In addition, this was apart of the 1001 Nights and I jumped on board. This was the best decision I made for what I needed. Yes!
So many things made this novella worth it. Both Ripley and Caterina had more depth than I expected for a novella. The author created a storyline for these characters giving them both complexity and simplicity in a magical balance. An additional bonus was the descriptive setting of the small Italian town near Milan, home to Mama Conte. I absolutely loved Mama and her family. Their family dynamic helped push Caterina and Ripley to the place they were meant to be, with each other. Finally, that little nod to magic wraps this novella with a very nice bow.

This novella hit all the right spots and was a great introduction to a new author to me. I’ll definitely be looking at other books from this author.

This book will standalone but if you haven't read any books in this series, you're missing out. It was nice to revisit characters I've loved from this series even though this novella is a prequel to their stories. Rip and Cat have more than just chemistry and you will fall in love with them.
Jennifer didn't disappoint in The Marriage Arrangement - her latest installment to her A Marriage to a Billionaire Series. I instantly fell in love with Cat and Rip and their story and had such a hard time putting the book down. We even got to check in on Mama Conte and her gang - Which was AWESOME! The story provided fun, well rounded characters, quick moving plot and tons of emotion and sizzle - all things I know I can expect when I pick up a Jennifer Probst book. Well done. )
This takes you to the beginning of the series and how it all started. I have read all of the series and loved every book. It was a joy to revisit the Conte Family, especially Mama Conte; the backbone of them all. If you have not read the series after you read this one, you must. Each of them is so individual and yet bonded together by the Spell Book. Every one of them are terrific. This is the mildest of them all but still enjoyable and a good intro. You cannot go wrong with anything she writes.
This was the first book I’ve read from Jennifer Probst and I look forward to reading many more. I really enjoyed Ripley and really felt for him that what he wanted was right within his grasp but blood relation overruled everything. Caterina and the book of spells was fun as well. I knew when she found out the truth about Lee/Ripley it wasn’t going to be good but I was pleasantly surprised that she gave him a chance and in the end it all came together. Great book!
I was swept up in this story from the beginning. Ripley's a sizzling hot sexy man with an aching soul. No matter how much he struggles to make his life better, it seems he's always being betrayed when he trusts other. But not this time. Even if it means making the ultimate sacrifice. Marrying for business, not love. That is, until he meets Caterina. This is one love story you don't want to miss. Your heart aches for these two characters. You'll find yourself wanting them to get together sooner than later.
This is the story of the Caterina who fled home after finding her fiancé cheating on her right before their wedding. Good thing it was before right! While in Italy she finds the “Book of Spells”. She decides why not what could it hurt?!?!?! Ripley falls into her life with the promise to her father to bring her home. He knew who she was but she didn’t know him. They fell hard and fast until in true author fashion the other shoe dropped. Read how Ripley tries to convince Cat his feelings are true. Will Cat be able to forgive him it is a story worth reading plus you get Mama Conti and family!
The Marriage Arrangement is an Amazing story and one where we find out where The Book Of Spells begins.
Caterina Winsor is the heir apparent to her families winery but when she is betrayed running off to Italy seems to be what she needs to get her life back in order. When she finds the mysterious book she does what it asks and writes down what she wants in a man even though silly it can’t hurt, but that very night she never imagined Rip Savage.
Rip Savage is a man who is looking for his place in life and he thinks it’s with Winsor Winery the only stipulation is being with Caterina is what will get him to that place.
Can Rip make Caterina see that they would be fantastic together or does he go about it totally in the wrong way.
Caterina & Rip will go through many ups and downs to get where they need to be, but watching how they come together with be heartbreaking at times but it will be absolutely heartwarming when they realize that they need each other and they truly are made for the other.
