I just read this and it is, to say the least, fascinating. Sylvia goes in depth about her two spirit guides, and relays what they have to say as well. A CD is included to help one learn how to contact One's own guide or guides. I've not gone that far yet... but it is great reading!Product details

I loved reading this book. Whether you believe or not (and I do) this helps you spiritually and helps reaffirm your beliefs.
fun and informative
I had hoped for a little more than a tiny book and short meditation CD; I know most of my own spiritual work has to be done by me, but I wanted a little more about things to look for. The meditation was good, and was not hard to follow at all. So overall it's good, but not terrific. But across the board I love Sylvia!!!
I am a fan of Sylvia Browne and owned this book once upon a time. I am glad to have it back in my possession (although it would've been cheaper if my friend had given it back in the first place). The book itself is written in the same style as all of Sylvia Browne's books and makes me laugh. I would say the book is funny, but I don't know other people's senses of humor, so I try not to say things like that.
The transcript in the back is very helpful for me because I enjoy reading what I'm hearing, but I have to say the "all of a sudden" refrain is a little overused. I understand why she uses it, but that doesn't make me like it.
Contacting Your Spirit Guide (Sylvia Browne)
Presented in her own inimitable style, Browne, a gifted psychic, offers a dialogue between her and her guide Francine. Candid and informative, she holds little back, with her insights being consistent with her earlier works.
As a gifted trans-channeler, Browne brings Francine to life in such a manner, to create an intimate connection between the reader and the guide. As part of her dialogue, Browne reveals some of what life is like (for her guide) in the finer reality we call "the other side." The author discusses human behavior, especially her own, from a somewhat removed and dispassionate perspective. Her insights frequently brush up against those offered by Edgar Cayce, Rudolph Steiner and HP Blavatsky. Browne invites the reader to contact their own spirit guide and suggests several methods for doing this.
A compact disk is included with the book for the reader to use in "Contacting Your Spirit Guide." The book is an easy read, it is simply written, with great clarity. Parts of it are incredibly exciting as the reader is introduced to the grandness of his or her own immortality. A second reading of Contacting Your Spirit Guide is as inspiring as the first.

This book is a 2nd release copy of Contacting your Spirit Guides. It has a whole new chapter, where, Sylvia "contacts" her spirit guide Francine, and she talks through Sylvia and that new chapter is in the back of the book. This book also describes what guides are, how to contact them, etc. There is even a CD-ROM audio meditation exercise that walks you through a way to talk to your guide.
Here's the thing. You can read through this book very quickly initially. What you can't do, is master what it says quickly unless you have already been practicing the techniques. I have been a student of deep meditation for quite a while but I will tell you that after reading this book and utilizing the meditation CD, I probably had the most profound meditation of my life.
If you are serious about not only contacting your spirit guide and actually getting your questions answered, you will need to keep at this. Just like another reviewer wrote, you can't strengthen your ability to reach a higher level of consciousness and have more in depth contact with your spirit guide unless you keep practicing. If you are willing to give it 20 minutes a day, you will see profound affects.
As a side note, if you are a skeptic on psychics, spirit guides, etc, don't bother with this book, it will probably just annoy you. It's purpose isn't to prove any reality of the psychic world, so I would look somewhere else if I were you. It's really for people who believe in it and want to take that to the next level. Just a thought, do with it as you will.
